I complete the temperature coefficient testing and calibration of my Multimeter Reference Check. --------------------- Click "Show more" ------------------------------- My website and forum:- http://www.mjlorton.com Donations and contributions:- http://www.mjlorton.com My techie channel MJLorton - Solar Power and Electronic Measurement Equipment - http://www.youtube.com/MJLorton My Techie Amazon Store: http://astore.amazon.com/m0711-20 My other channel VBlogMag - For almost any topic under the sun! - http://www.youtube.com/VBlogMag My VBlogMag Amazon Store: http://astore.amazon.com/vblogmag-20 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I get my lab environmental conditions (temperature and humidity) to respectable levels so I can calibrate the Multimeter Reference Check ready for the giveaway at the end of June 2012. Entries can be made up until the 28th of June on my forum: http://mjlorton.com/forum/index.php?t... I use the Fluke 8846A and HP 3457A as a cross reference to do the calibration. I show the temperature coefficient testing and results. I also test the accuracy of my DMMCheck from Voltagestandard.com with the Fluke 8846A and mention Doug's new device the DMMCheck Plus: The DMMCheck Plus is a battery powered device that checks seven important functions on a DMM: AC and DC Voltage, AC and DC current, Resistance, Frequency, and Duty Cycle. It you have a DVM or DMM that has questionable accuracy, the DMMCheck Plus can give you the confidence you need before relying on your test equipment. Provided on the small (2.5"W x 2.2"L) circuit board are the following circuits: Resistance : Four 0.1%, 10ppm precision resistors are included: 100Ω, 1.00KΩ, 10.00KΩ, and 100.0KΩ DC voltage : 5V, ± 0.01% voltage reference DC current : 1mA, ±0.1% current source AC voltage : 5V RMS, ±0.1% voltage source AC current : 1mA RMS, ±0.2% current source Frequency : 100Hz, ±0.02% signal source Duty Cycle : 100Hz, 5V RMS, signal source has 50% ± 0.05% duty cycle Other equipment used or mentioned in this video: * Precision resistors * NPN transistor * Analog Devices REF194ESZ * TL431 REF194ESZ * REF102CPG4 * Fluke 8846A 6.5 digit precision calibrated bench multimeter * HP / Agilent 3457A 6.5 / 7.5 precision calibrated bench multimeter * DMMCheck from Voltagestandard.com: http://www.voltagestandard.com/DMMChe... * DMMCheck Plus: http://www.voltagestandard.com/DMMChe...
